Terms and Conditions for 4-Bedroom Holiday Rental Home in Melkbosstrand

1. Booking and Payment:

  • Payment confirms the booking.
  • Bookings more than 14 days prior to arrival date, require a 50 % deposit
  • Bookings less than 14 days prior to arrival date, require full payment.

2. Check-In and Check-Out:

  • Check-In: From 3:00 PM onwards.
  • Check-Out: By 10:00 AM on the departure day.
  • Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Occupancy:

  • Maximum Occupancy: The property accommodates up to 8 guests. Exceeding the maximum number of guests is not permitted without prior approval.
  • Visitors: Any visitors must be registered with the property manager. Unauthorized visitors may result in additional charges or eviction.

4. Property Use:

  • No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed.
  • Parties and Events: No parties or events are allowed without prior consent. Noise must be kept to a minimum to respect the neighbours.

5. Maintenance and Safety:

  • Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages or loss to the property or its contents. Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately.
  • Safety: The property is equipped with a security system. Guests should lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

6. Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellation requiring a refund payment will incur an administration fee of R500.00.

Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoiced amount.

Cancellations received 02-14 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 75% of the invoiced amount

Cancellations received within 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the invoiced amount.

7. Liability:

  • Guest Responsibility: Guests use the property at their own risk. The property owner is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur on the premises.
  • Insurance: Guests are encouraged to have travel insurance to cover any unexpected events or losses.

8. Governing Law:

  • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Cape Town.
